For use on stud walls to resist racking during framing. Can be used to replace code prescribed 1 x 4 wood let-in bracing as a framing aid. Rolled edges and t-style design give strength, rigidity, and eliminate sharp, sheared edges. Framing aid only; Do Not Use as a substitute for structural shearwall components. G60 galvanizing finish. Requires four 8d nails for each plate, one 8d nail for each stud. 291-pound max load for No.WBT10, 511-pound max for No.WBT12. Meets SBCCI, BOCA - NER 530 and NER 505, ICBO 5700, ICBO 5736; L.A. City RR25337, L.A. City RR25303; and DSA PA-076 codes. Max load is the max load vector applied at top of stud wall section, not to exceed 25'L, resisted by the combination of wall brace straps installed.
